朗読はスティーブン・フライ。
長さにびびりながらも購入してみました。
７２時間５８分に渡る超ロング朗読。
世にシャーロキアンは数多いといえども、全作品を一人で朗読した人はなかなかいないのではないでしょうか。
朗読版の良いところは、自分で読むと飛ばしてしまうところも必ず朗読してくれるところ。
「緋色の研究」のモルモン教の部分をちゃんと読んだ人は少ないと思うのですが（ホームズ出てこないし）、このオーディオ版でやっとどういう話だったのか分かりました。手に汗握る活劇で意外に面白かった。
イギリスの国宝と呼ばれるスティーブン・フライの朗読は本当に素晴らしく、とくにワトソンが可愛さがきわだっています。
しかも各巻ごとにスティーブン・フライの解説つき。
ホームズを人気ドラマドクター・ハウスと比較したりしてヒュー・ローリーの宣伝もしてあげる英国国宝。
本の表紙をよく見ると、
Stephen Fry
と書いてある。
ふつうそこは作者の名前を入れるのでは・・・
スティーブン・フライの集客力がよくわかりますね。
スマホで聞くとチャプター分けがわからないのが欠点だな。
私はまだブルー・カーバンクルのあたりでうろうろしています笑。
