「ダンケルク」の時にも思ったんですが、このスピーチは「～で戦う」というフレーズが何度も出てくるので前置詞の勉強になりますね。

何回聞いてもstreetsの前置詞がinで驚く。（on the streetsだとwithout a homeって意味になるらしい）
フランス以外はすべてtheがつくのにも驚かされます。話し手にとっても聞き手にとっても当然「（イギリスの）その海岸」と了解されてるってことなんでしょうか。
